American Sign Language Teacher

Job Description

City Academy is seeking a licensed secondary ASL teacher to begin immediately to teach 3 classes - ASL 1, 2, & Adv. This teacher should be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, and collaborative in their approaches to creating curriculum and to teaching second language learners.

Schedule would be 12:30 - 3:10 Mon, Tues, Wed, & Fri, and 12:15 - 1:45 on Thurs. Salary is commensurate with teaching experience, license, endorsements, and education. Please send a cover letter explaining why you are interested in teaching at City Academy along with your resume, references, and examples of lessons you have used or would use with students. Preference will be given to Utah licensed, endorsed ASL teachers with high school teaching experience. Minimum requirement is bachelor's degree and ASL experience.
