Joe Leo has been teaching at City Academy since 2021. He teaches U.S. History, AP U.S. History, Civics, Utah Studies, and Financial Literacy. Mr. Leo graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2021 with a B.A. in History, with a focus on U.S. History and 19th- and 20th-century German history. He enjoys helping students become stronger writers and critical thinkers by guiding them to analyze the past and understand its relevance to the world today. In his free time, Mr. Leo enjoys spending time with family, watching Westerns and college basketball, and playing Magic: The Gathering.
