Landon Smith
Music Teacher
Landon Smith is a career music educator with a primary focus on vocal technique in young, developing voices. Landon graduated from Utah State University with a dual emphasis in Choral Music Education and Vocal Performance, where he had the opportunity to work with opera professionals such as Cindy Dewey, Colin Baldy, and Stanford Olsen. Landon has taught in public middle and high schools for 14 years and has worked with well over 2,000 students. Most recently, he spent 4 years as department head at Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts, where his students worked with many Broadway and opera professionals including Roberta Duchak, Marc Callahan, and Travis Sherwood. Landon is thrilled to join the faculty at City Academy and continue to prepare young artists for their futures!
